APS Snapshots Snapshots: Drew reading Program

In this week’s episode, Snapshots visits with kindergarteners at Drew Model Elementary School during the Read a Book, Give a Book celebration. Drew students participated in the Pearson Foundation’s first-ever national Read for My School campaign, which allowed readers to designate a school to receive free children’s books. Drew was one of 25 schools nationwide to receive 500 books from Pearson.  (More)

Green Scene: Hoffman-Boston Teaching Gardens
In the second episode, Green Scene visits with Nottingham Elementary School fifth grade students and parent volunteers about their award winning video, “It Takes One.” Earth Charter International selected Nottingham’s video as the winner of its first-ever international contest. Students from Belarus, Costa Rica, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Romania and the United States participated in the contest. (More)
