| W-2 Year-End Tax Summary Information In network login: http://stars.aps/ Home login: http://mystars.apsva.us While logged into Employee Self Service: click on "W-2 Year End Tax Summary". The first one that comes up will be the 2011 W-2. If you would like to review another year such as 2007, 2008, 2009 or 2010, you would click the drop down box at the top, choose the year, and be sure to press "GO". Your new year will appear. W-2 Year End Tax Quick Reference Summary Starting January 26, 2011, you can view and print your W-2 form online in STARS. APS has mailed your W-2 form to your address on file per IRS regulations as a backup. Log in to STARS the same way you would see your paystub. Click on APS Employee Self Service. Click on Payroll Summary to see your pay stub. Click on W-2 Year End Tax Summary to see your W-2 form. Your current W-2 form for 2011 will be displayed. You can also see your previous W-2 form for 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. To print your W-2 form, click on the print icon at the top of the form. This will print 2 pages. Please review the instruction pages for all boxes noted on your W-2. All instructions/notes related to the specific boxes of the W-2's are posted on the payroll website in the W-2 section of www.apsva.us/payroll. The second page of the W-2 that is online or the back of the printed W-2 that was sent to the address of record will have all information needed. The W-2's online are a legal representation of a W-2. Include the employee number and address. A reissue request form (PDF) is provided for employee convenience. Requested W2 Reissue Request Form will begin to be printed and mailed on the 1st of March. The W-2s have the following codes in specific boxes on the W-2 per IRS regulations. Employees should submit the appropriate state and federal forms only if they need to change the withholding amount for calendar year 2012.
If an employee moves between states, the new state tax form will need to be filled out. Payroll does not change withholding until a new tax form is received.
